My guess is that only 9800 onwards had hardware shader model 2.0 support, so those card allow aero to run better. Also ATI have yet to release drivers for the TV to work in AIW cards.

Asus-SLI Deluxe, AMD x2 4400 (oc'd to 5000), x1900xtx (oc'd), 2GB Corsair XMS RAM 2-3-3-6 (4x512), 500GB Maxtor HDD w/ 32mb cache, 300GB Maxtor HDD w/ 16mb cache, Creative Audigy 4 (Daniel Driver Set), HVR-1100 Dvb-t hybrid TV card, 580W Hiper Type M PSU.

5.0 score on Vista Ultimate x64, 6040 3DMark 06' score on XP

X1650 Pro works fine after downloading new drivers.

just installed ultimate 64, and seem to have trouble with graphic card,ATI, radeon x200...

i thought this was compatible with vista, but when I download and update the driver, it seems to work for few runds, and fails saying "driver could not be found" or in device manager "driver is having problem"

Do I have to upgrade my card? or is there any other way I can make this work?

Thanks you for the help in advance...

You should check with the hardware compatibilty thing at Vista's home page at MS which will at least clear up any doubts about support for it.

I see no reason why it would not work quite well with Vista. It probably won't give you the very best quality as far as intensive gaming goes but it should definitely enhance your Vista experience.
