| | The Pony Express rider was driving a FedEx truck. I was given a choice of Upgrade or Full installation at the time I won. I chose the full installation and MS sent an Upgrade. I suppose I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but there's a lot of difference. It is a Signature Edition (one of 25000). |

I suppose I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but there's a lot of difference. It is a Signature Edition (one of 25000). I was awakened by a FedEx delivery this morning. I received a full version of Microsoft Vista. The letter in the package said in part, "Due to a processing error, you were sent the upgrade version of Microsoft Vista rather than the full version you selected. The Microsoft Vista upgrade version initially sent to you is yours to keep because it has features you may be interested in using. Enclosed in this box you will find the Microsoft Vista full version software you selected. We apologize for any confusion and hope you enjoy your prize." All I need to do now is build another computer. Thanks, Microsoft! |
