I can see that you've done some of this, but much as I hate to say it, Windows based System Restores don't seem to do much good. I've had instances where the restore claimed to work, but when I checked the driver versions (which I knew were updated after the restore), the new versions were still there.

I do full image backups and recovery using third party products simply because System Restore doesn't seem to work in Vista. Full-image restore does, however, but you have no real options than to blow away your whole hard drive in the process.

Since you've tried the "easy" things (driver rollback, and System Restore), and they haven't restored your network connection, and you've already tried all the troubleshooting tips we've provided in the pinned posts in the Forum -- I hate to say it, but a full reinstallation is probably going to be the only thing that will restore network connectivity.

If we had a miracle cure, we'd post it.
