Hi,

When I run netplwiz, I don't have "Users must enter a username and password
to use this computer" checkbox anymore!
I am running windows vista SP1. Could SP1 cause this problem?

How can I have "Users must enter a username and password to use this
computer" option back?

Thank you,
Max

No. SP1 is installed on my system, and I have netplwiz version
6.0.6001.18000. I see the checkbox and can activate it.
It sounds like you are not getting admin rights.

The user is member of local admins.
How can find the root cause?

Start/Run, type: GPEDIT.MSC
Look at the settings for:
Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Local
Policy/Security Options/
