I updated to vista home premium less than 2 weeks ago and realized none of my AVI, WMV, or any video formats for that matter were working in windows media player 11. I had numerous other problems with vista since upgrading so I did a fresh install. Everything has been working fine, all video formats were playing flawlessly with the codecs I have for windows media player, but suddenly they stopped again. I need help troubleshooting this problem. I was using ffdshow and haali media splitter codecs, they were working fine then suddenly stopped displaying video. I've tried re-installing codecs and using the codec tweak tool to cleanup broken registry files. Still no luck. Wondering if some media player registry files have become corrupt...help?

You'd get more help if you'd post this to the proper forum.

Will be moving this to the Audio and Video forum.
