| | anyone know a way to disable those pop up tips, the comments one gets when the pointer is over a link? I mean on a webpage (IE7)

| | Thanks, thats not the one, easy way to get that is under folder options, and uncheck: (show pop-up disctription for folders and desktop items) I would like to disable the one on webpages such as this forum index. Hover over a thread link and the pop-up will read a part of the post. I have not been able to stop the pop-up over the taskbar either, but I use it for the date when hovering over the clock.

| | well That mite be it. but my string is diffrent: 9e 3e 03 80 12 00 00 00 I have been looking in IE7, all searches have been turning up XP.
