I recently had to clear out cookies but now I can't go to trusted sites (like amazon etc) without having to manually log on each time.  IE8's privacy setting is set to medium, which should allow first party cookies.  What can I do?

EDIT: When I say "trusted sites", I don't mean that I added them to the trusted sites list.

I've had a lot of security problems using IE8 on sites that were previously no trouble with IE7. In one case, I had to add the site to the trusted sites list. You may have to do the same.
