| | i have a hp desktop running vista premium 64 or (technically xp pro 32 now) and neither of them work vistas deleted and xp wont load i dont care about either but i press f11 and the recovery console wont load so i cant restore vista can iget a dvd-rom or something |

| Did your desktop come with Vista preloaded? If so, there was most certainly a partition (hidden or otherwise) on the hard drive containing the restore image. You say that it has XP Pro 32-bit on it now. Did you install that, and if so, did you erase or wipe any of the hard drive to do that? If so, you may have wiped the restore partition. If that's the case, you have nothing to restore FROM.
You will need to contact the machine vendor to see what they will do regarding providing you restore DVD or CDs -- and, they will most certainly charge you a fee for that. But it will be cheaper than the cost of of a Vista DVD.
