| Help! I ran the Windows Safety Scanner. It detected four issues, but apparently, the scanner cannot clean three:
Exploit:Java/CVE-2008-5353.B Trojan:Java/Selace.A Trojan:Java/Selace.B
I've unisntalled java but it was still detected when i did live care scan. I also downloaded avg virus scan, which did not detect the trojans. I followed up by doing another live care scan in which they were still detected. please Help Sincerely Joseph |

| Window Safety Scanner is an MS product. Suggest you contact MS for support on that.
Other options you can try include Googling for and downloading the Avira Rescue CD. This is an ISO image that you can use to burn a bootable CD, which can then be used OUTSIDE of Windows to scan and clean your system.

| What fix? You mean running Avira against it?
If that's the question, since the op never responded, the answer would have to be no.
