| Hey everyone, just got a problem. Some of my applications force Vista to change its theme from Windows Aero to Windows Basic which really sucks. Is there anyway I can tweak the OS so it doesn't do this?
Im using Windows Vista Build 6000 RTM |

| No, not as far as I know.
It is a compatibility issue. Some applications and games aren't compatible with the aero theme. Probably because they are using parts of DirectX that directly intefere with the theme.
I guess the only way to fix it is to wait for the applications to get patched by their respective developer. |

| You know he makes a good point here...
but if you're talking about compatibility issues how come in the windows environment all my title bars and menu bars in a new blue colour yet in any Office 2007 (beta) application (also created by M$) show up in black?
hehe

| Ah...answering my own question here but...
Word Options/ Personalization / Theme Scheme (Drop down menu)
Why this doesn't default to Blue I don't know!
